Liz Clayton: Early Years Manager, Teddington
Liz is professional, a great listening ear and works hard to ensure that Building Blocks is the best it can be. She has an active part to play in the management of the main building and has especially been a great support since I reduced my hours in September.
She is super supportive and always helpful. She is an amazing manager and always supportive when I need to talk. I love working alongside her and I feel she deserves some recognition!
Liz is a fantastic manager who continues to motivate, reflect and encourage all around her. Liz has not steered away from the core values and practice of Building Blocks, instead adding and building upon our practice. I feel that Liz is truly deserving of this title!
Liz is great to work with, a true professional that embodies the Core Values of Building Blocks. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great support to all around her. I can always rely on her to take on any challenge sent her way with a positive attitude.
Quite simply because of her 15 years of dedication, commitment, and the fact she takes every part of her role seriously following and adhering to all of Building Blocks policy’s and ensuring all staff do as well. Liz believes and trusts in the cores values. Liz is our role model.
Liz is extremely reflective and is always open to others views, ideas and shows excitement to give things a go. This results in feeling valued and makes me want to suggest further new ideas to try.
This last year has not been smooth sailing when supporting a wide variety of different challenges within both SPS and KC. Liz has shown consistent resilience and perseverance during these challenges and whilst keeping her team motivated and upbeat has been open to new initiatives to support the variety of needs.
SEND just comes naturally to Liz! She has successfully overseen and drafted numerous EHCP’s that have supported children and families as they embark on their next stage of their nursery/school life. In addition Liz has formed strong relationships with professionals and has cascaded all information to her team so seamlessly leaving the team fully informed and at ease to approach new methods and teaching styles.
