Building Blocks Nursery in Teddington
Building Blocks Nursery provides high-quality care and education for children aged 6 weeks to 4 years.
Our environment is nurturing and stimulating, designed to help every child feel safe, happy, and confident while learning through play and exploration, from our Beautiful Babies room through to our Nursery School.
With close proximity to Bushy Park and Teddington High Street, children’s learning is enriched through local walks to explore their surroundings, as well as trips using our very own minibus. Children take part in Forest School sessions and enjoy discovering and engaging with the wider community, all of which support their curiosity, independence, and social development.
Our experienced and caring staff provide a nurturing and supportive environment where children can learn through play in secure, age-appropriate settings. Children have access to our outdoor garden for exploration and physical activity, and enjoy nutritious, freshly prepared meals.
Government-funded hours, either 15 or 30 hours, are available in line with local authority guidelines, ensuring accessible, high-quality care for all families.
Opening Times & Fees
Our core opening hours are 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. For added convenience, extended hours from 7:30 am – 6:30 pm are available upon request.

School Collection
All children are collected from school by our Kids’ Club staff and safely escorted back to the setting using our dedicated procedures and transport arrangements where applicable.
Due to varying finishing times and collection volumes, children are grouped to ensure a smooth and organised transition back to Kids’ Club.
We are unable to collect children outside of scheduled school finish times. If a child attends an after-school club or school trip that results in a later finish, alternative arrangements will be required for that day. Children are still welcome to attend once available, where a freshly prepared dinner will be ready.
We currently provide after-school collections from St Mary’s, St Peter’s and Stanley Primary School.
