Ela Kaya
Early Years Educator
Hi, I’m Ela and I joined Building Blocks in January 2026. I am an experienced educator with over 25 years of teaching experience, originally trained as a science teacher. Throughout my career, I have worked across Early Years settings and After School Clubs, where I have supported children through play-based, creative, and interactive learning. I have delivered a wide range of activities, including STEM projects, drama, storytelling, and creative arts, and I particularly enjoy working in lively group settings where children can learn together.
Creating a safe, happy, and engaging environment for children is very important to me. I believe children learn best when they feel secure, included, and excited to take part. I value teamwork, clear communication, and mutual respect, and I enjoy being an active, positive member of the staff team.
I bring enthusiasm and positive energy into the room and enjoy encouraging children to work together, explore new ideas, and express themselves creatively. I especially love hands-on activities such as science experiments, arts and crafts, drama games, and storytelling.
