Hannah Sayers

Deputy Early Years Manager – Acting Room Lead Supernumerary Deputy

Paediatric First Aid Trained

My name is Hannah and I have worked at Building Blocks since September 2009. I started as a Nursery Assistant and continued to achieve my NVQ Level 3. This has given me the opportunity to grow and develop, and become a Deputy Manager. Throughout my time at Building Blocks, I have worked in all rooms and have gained a great knowledge of all the age groups. I enjoy supporting the children in achieving their aspirations and goals, and I enjoy watching them develop as they move through the nursery. I have a son who attends a local primary school who I love to spend as much of my spare time with, often involving a football.

Sarah Judkins

Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer

Paediatric First Aid Trained

My name is Sarah, and I started working at Building Blocks in January 2015 as an Early Years Educator. I have an NVQ Level 3 in childcare, which I achieved in 2007. I have gained lots of experience as a key carer based within our Sessional Pre School as a primary key carer, but also support the school runs and lunch support in our main building, which has enabled me to make bonds with all children and staff. I enjoy working with children of all ages, and my role gives me the wonderful opportunity to support children to learn and progress across all ages. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my children. I have two daughters and a son who attend local schools and colleges.

Alina Obligacion

Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer

My name is Alina, and I joined Building Blocks in June 2024. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Early Years and previously worked in a nursery caring for children aged 4 months to 4 years old. Before this, I worked with young adults with learning disabilities as a Support Worker, and children aged 3 years old to 18 years old with visual impairments as a Social Rehabilitator. My favourite aspect of working in childcare is understanding each child's unique perspective of the world around them, and supporting them to develop their skills for childhood and beyond. In my personal life, I'm an amateur photographer, I enjoy exploring new places, and trying new foods with my family.
