Lynne Newberry
Lead Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer

My name is Lynne and I joined Building Blocks in February 2020. I worked as a teaching assistant in Saudi Arabia for 9 years. I have also been looking after my own children and grandchildren over the years. I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I love doing arts and crafts with the children and enjoy reading with them. I love spending time with my family. I love supporting the children’s learning alongside their parents. I have my Level 3 in Childcare and Education, and I’m very much looking forward to applying my new knowledge to my practice. I am currently studying for my Level 5 in Leadership and Management and can't wait to begin my new role as the room lead in nursery school!

Khia Navarro
Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer
My name is Khia. I joined Building Blocks in January 2025, I have a fun personality, am dedicated to my work, and always strive to do better with a smile. I am looking forward to working in a nursery setting to support and see young minds develop to their fullest potential. My friends and family are important to me. I like to travel to see the world. In my spare time, I enjoy art, painting, drawing and spending time with my friends and family.

Ewa Tomanek

My name is Ewa, and I joined Building Blocks in February 2024. I lived in Poland and worked in a Pre-school looking after children aged 2 years old - 5 years old. I moved to the UK and wanted to share my experience in a Nursery setting. I am a calm, happy person who is passionate about supporting all children in a healthy, nurturing educational environment, where they can have fun and play safely. In my spare time, I enjoy reading books, going for long walks in the sun or going for a jog! I am close to finishing my Level 3 in Childcare and cannot wait to put my knowledge into practice.
