My name is Priscilla, also known as CeCe. I am a qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator and have been working at Building Blocks since October 2018. I have worked across every age group from our Beautiful Babies through to our Nursery School, to which I am particularly fond of. I am currently training for my Level 5 Childcare and Leadership, which I believe will support my current role and future goals in my career. I enjoy imaginative play, dancing and singing, which I am grateful to also have as an outlet away from the setting. I get to travel the world and inspire and comfort others with music, which I have been doing professionally for the last 24 years. I bring my bubbly personality to my play and love to engage children in lots of wonderful activities.

Hello, my name is Lucy. I have been at Building Blocks since 2010. I hold a Level 3 in Childcare and an Honours Degree in Sociology. I have experience working with all age groups and particularly enjoy working with the Babies and Toddlers. It gives me great pleasure teaching children the foundation of life, nurturing and supporting children as they grow into confident explorers and aiding them to create special bonds. I have a lovely son called Will, who is football mad, together we love being outdoors supporting our teams.

My name is Shannon, and I have been at Building Blocks since May 2015, and I work three days a week. I love spending time with the children and have worked with our Babies, Toddlers and preschoolers during my time here. I have recently completed my Level 3 in childcare, and I am currently training towards my Level 5 in Childcare and Leadership! I enjoy putting all I have learnt into providing exciting and developmental activities for the children. When not at work, I love spending time with my 4 children.

My name is Tara, and I joined Building Blocks in July 2023. I am a caring passionate member of staff, who is currently studying towards their Level 3 in Childcare. I also have a BSC in Psychology. I have previously worked in nurseries as a nursery assistant with an agency for the past 6 months working with children aged 3 months to 5-year-old. What is important to me is working in a friendly environment, where the team supports the development of the children to their fullest potential. In my spare time I enjoy quality time with friends and family.

My name is Chloe, I joined Building  Blocks in December 2024, and I have a passion for childcare. My previous experience was working as a private Nanny for children aged Birth to 16 years old. I love working with all age ranges as it requires different skills sets to support their individual needs. Being a nanny, my job roles were to change nappies, meal times, bed time, naps during the day, playtime, which included going to the park, with a scooter or a bike, and swimming. One of my favourite activities is baking or cooking with the children; it’s fun, helps develop their cooking skills and encourages healthy eating from a young age. Seeing their little minds work with the activities is always my biggest joy! What is important to me is to create activities through play, creating happy memories for the children, which allows their minds to expand and learn through play. Having fun through play is such a big thing, as it brings out different emotions and thoughts through the activity for the children. In my spare time, I enjoy going for walks, I love woodlands and cabins, anything near lakes or water, spending time with my family and being out and about in nature with animals. Sunsets are something I enjoy the most! The views and taking in the beauty around you! 

My name is Jeanelle. I joined Building Blocks in July 2025. I have a well-rounded background in human resources, schools, and customer service. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a strong foundation in communication, organisation, and people management skills that allow me to adapt easily and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. My experience across different sectors has shaped my ability to connect with individuals from all walks of life, resolve challenges with empathy and efficiency, and contribute meaningfully to both employee and customer experiences. I value professionalism, integrity, and continuous personal growth in everything I do. What is important to me is God & family. In my spare time I enjoy keeping fit, baking and travelling.

My name is Hanisah. I joined Building Blocks in August 2025. I have achieved an NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Health and Social Care. For the last 2 years I have been working as a Learning Support Assistant in a Primary school caring and supporting children aged 7-11 years old. What is important to me is to see how the children grow and develop in their personalities and their all-round development through Play. In my spare time I enjoy swimming, reading, going for walks, and doing jigsaw puzzles. I love spending time with my friends and family, especially my niece and nephews, they always brighten my day and keep me on my toes.
