Hi there, I am Anna. I have been working at Building Blocks since January 2010 and I am a Lead Early Years Educator within our Top Toddlers. I have my NVQ level 2 and 3 in Childcare and Education and love to observe children achieve new skills. I am also a named and trained designated safeguarding lead for the setting.

During my time at Building Blocks I have been alongside all age groups. I enjoy creative activities, the messier the better! I am a parent myself and I love spending time with my daughter, my husband and family members.

My name is Alina and I joined Building Blocks in June 2024. I have a level 3 Diploma in Early Years and previously worked in a nursery caring for children aged 4 months to 4 years old. Prior to this, I worked with young adults with learning disabilities as a Support Worker, and children aged 3 years old to 18 years old with visual impairments as a Social Rehabilitator. My favourite aspect of working in childcare is understanding each child's unique perspective of the world around them, and supporting them to develop their skills for childhood and beyond. In my personal life, I'm an amateur photographer, I enjoy exploring new places, and trying new foods with my family.

My name is Lynne and I joined Building Blocks in February 2020. I worked as a teaching assistant in Saudi Arabia for 9 years. I have also been looking after my own children and grandchildren over the years. I have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. I love doing arts and crafts with the children and enjoy reading with them. I love spending time with my family. I love supporting the children’s learning alongside their parents. I have my Level 3 in Childcare and Education and I’m very much looking forward to applying my new knowledge to my practice.

My name is Nataliia and I started at Building Blocks in March 2023. I am Ukrainian born and came to the UK in 2014. I worked as a private Nanny for the last 9 years, caring for children aged 6 months to 9 years old. I have a CACHE Level 1 in Childcare, I have finished Level 2 in July 2024 and I am going to start Level 3 in September. I have been working with children for 34 years and I have never looked back. In my spare time I love reading, knitting, going to the theatre, cinema, travelling and working as a volunteer.

My name is Bo, I joined Building Blocks in January 2025, I'm a proud first-generation British-born Hong Kong Chinese. I look forward to starting my career in childcare. After working in various Customer service and Hospitality roles, I have developed various skills, such as good listening, effective communication and strong IT skills which will be useful when working as part of a team. Caring for my wonderful stepdaughter, I realised that I'm a natural carer and educator. I adore caring for and interacting with children to see them flourish and develop to their fullest potential. I have a wide variety of interests in arts, music, science, sports, which allows me to connect with others in an engaging way. I love to teach, travel and learn about different cultures. I enjoy expanding my knowledge and understanding of the world; how things work on a scientific level. I enjoy warm sunny weather and making others laugh and smile!
