Hi there, I am Sonia, and I am the Lead Early Years Educator for our Beautiful Babies and Outstanding Ones. I have been working in early years since 2014, and I have been working with Building Blocks since 2017. I have a bachelor's degree in education and a master's in Early Years Education. I have worked alongside all age groups, and I am grateful for being able to support and take part in children's learning and development. I have a son who is in our Kids Club, having been through all of our classrooms. I speak fluent English and Portuguese, and in my spare time, I love spending time with my family, travelling, spending plenty of time in nature walks, exercising, reading and shopping.

Danielle Shafique
Early Years Educator/Primary Key Carer
Paediatric First Aid trained
I started Building Blocks in June 2018. I have gained experience in working with all age groups whilst working in previous settings. I’ve always wanted to work with children and knew it was what I wanted to do since I left school. I studied my Level 1 and Level 2 Childcare in college and completed my Level 3 while I was working at my previous setting. I love being a key carer and building those special bonds with the children. Whilst with the children, I enjoy teaching them new songs, and love to dance with them. I enjoy going to explore new places, such as the countryside, and I love spending time with my family and friends. I love going on holiday and Greece is my favourite destination.
